This is a big week in my family, and I couldn’t let it pass without sharing it with you.
On May 27th, we’re celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday, and yes, we’re throwing her a big party on May 30th! Ninety years… can you imagine all the stories she holds? I feel incredibly lucky to still have her with us, and we’re going to make it a day to remember.
And just two days later…it’s my birthday on May 29th
.So yes, there will be cake. Probably more than one. 🎂
Mom has always been one of my greatest inspirations, her strength, her resilience, and her ability to keep going no matter what life throws at her. I think a lot of the women in my books carry a little piece of her spirit.
